Celestial Tiger Entertainment Expands Sales Team with Two New Appointments Covering Affiliate Sales and Advertising Sales

Hong Kong (October 18, 2012) -­ Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), one of Asia’s largest vertically integrated independent entertainment companies, announced today the appointments of Annie Chan as Director, Affiliate Sales and Magdalene Cheung as Director, Advertising Sales.

Their extensive industry experience will help sustain the tremendous momentum we have built up since the company began ten months ago, and these appointments complete the first phase of the ongoing expansion of our team," said Todd Miller, President and Chief Operating Officer of CTE.

Annie Chan has been promoted to Director of Affiliate Sales and will report to Ofanny Choi, Executive Vice President, TV Networks. Chan is responsible for driving distribution and affiliate sales efforts across Asia, as well as developing and maintaining business relationships with key affiliate and distribution partners. Prior to her new role, Chan was the Director of Business Development at Celestial Pictures Limited, where she handled corporate finance and business development since her start at the company in 2004.

Before joining Celestial Pictures Limited, Chan served as a business consultant at British Telecom based in London.

"It is an exciting time for me to join our sales team. In my new role, I will continue to broaden our channels reach and affiliate relationships in the Asia-Pacific region. The world of media is changing fast, and we are eager to support our platform partners on both traditional and digital media fronts," said Chan.

Magdalene Cheung has been appointed as Director, Advertising Sales, reporting to Ed Stansfield, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Business Development. Cheung will be responsible for developing sales strategies and driving the advertising sales business for all CTE branded channels across Asia. Cheung was formerly the Senior Manager of Advertising Sales and Partnerships at Fox International Channels (FIC), where she provided integrated sales support to the front-line sales teams of FIC's Asia, U.S. and Europe-based offices.

Prior to FIC, Cheung was part of the National Geographic Channels team, and drove their regional advertising sales business in Hong Kong, Macau and China.

As the director of advertising sales, my singular goal is help brands connect with their customers.
