Celestial Tiger Entertainment Launches brand new streaming app CMGO in Singapore

First ever Chinese Movie app to wow consumers with the latest and greatest Chinese movies 

 

Hong Kong (15th August 2024) – Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), operator of the largest bouquet of pan-Asian channels dedicated to Asian entertainment, announced today the launch of a brand new Chinese Movie subscription streaming app, CMGO, in Singapore. CMGO has launched earlier today with both major platforms, Singtel and StarHub.

Movie fans can now experience the world of Chinese movies all in one place, as CMGO offers a curation of the best movies from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. From new releases and the latest blockbusters, to exclusive, never-seen-before titles, original and director’s cut versions, award-winning movies, favourite timeless classics, as well as CMGO Originals, the world of Chinese movies is ready to be explored at one’s fingertips, anytime, anywhere, through various devices.

New and exclusive movies to catch on CMGO includes Andy Lau’s I Did It My Way, Aaron Kwok’s latest action comedy Rob n Roll and The Goldfinger, starring Andy Lau and Tony Leung Chiu Wai in their first movie together 20 years after the critically acclaimed Infernal Affairs crime trilogy, also available on CMGO. This year’s much anticipated Hong Kong blockbuster Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In will also be on CMGO.

Other movies to look out for on CMGO include China’s box office hit, Article 20; Taiwan’s Golden Horse Award winner, Old Fox and Film festivals’ favourite Trouble Girl; as well as Singapore’s new food comedy King of Hawkers.

For S$6.98 monthly (with GST), subscribers in Singapore can access their favourite movies all ad free and with localised sub-titles and user interface, while streaming on their mobile devices and TV. They can also download content for offline viewing, set up 3 user profiles per subscription, and activate Parental PIN control for more secured viewing as required.

CMGO is available now for subscription on Singtel’s CAST (www.cast.singtel.com) and on StarHub TV+ (www.starhub.com/cmgo). Simply go to either of your preferred provider’s website to subscribe, then create an account to activate your subscription on www.cmgo.com.
