Celestial Movies launches the Don’t Go Breaking My Heart Regional Contest

Subscribers have the chance to win an unforgettable movie experience in Hong Kong

(Hong Kong, 19th January 2012) - Ever wanted to see the actual locations where many of your favourite Hong Kong movies were filmed? Celestial Movies, the region’s most widely distributed 24-hour Chinese and Asian movies channel, is offering viewers a chance to win a trip to Hong Kong for a three-day movie escapade to re-live the hit romantic comedy Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, which starred heartthrobs Louis Koo, Daniel Wu and actress Gao Yuan Yuan.

The movie depicts a complicated love triangle where Zixin (played by Gao Yuan Yuan) is torn between two men; failing architect Kevin Fong (played by Daniel Wu), and fund manager Sean Cheung (played by Louis Koo). Both gentlemen pursue Zixin relentlessly, leaving her undecided on who she wants to settle down with.

The Don’t Go Breaking My Heart regional online contest will run from today to Valentine's Day (14th February 2012) in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Viewers can enter the contest via Celestial Movies’ Facebook contest page (http://www.facebook.com/ilikecm) and website (http://www.ilikecm.com).

A winner from each country will win a three-day trip to Hong Kong for two with accommodation at a premium four-star hotel. They will also be given a private tour of some of the locations where Don’t Go Breaking My Heart was filmed. In addition, Celestial Movies will arrange an exclusive visit to the set of a new movie production or tickets to attend a major pop star’s concert.

Participants can also look forward to winning consolation prizes, which include Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 smartphones and supermarket vouchers for each country.

Winners will be notified by Celestial Movies in March 2012.

Don’t Go Breaking My Heart premieres exclusively on Celestial Movies on the 22nd of January. As one of the top grossing Chinese romantic comedies of 2011, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart was a hit in Hong Kong and China, reaching US$1.58 million and US$15.4 million in their respective box offices.
