KIX and KIX HD To Host the World Premiere of Highly-anticipated Docuseries Beat N Path on March 8

Hong Kong (February 21, 2018) – Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), operator of the largest bouquet of pan-Asian channels dedicated to Asian entertainment, announced today the world premiere of the highly-anticipated docuseries Beat N Path on March 8th on its action entertainment channels KIX and KIX HD.

"We are thrilled that KIX will be the first in the world to bring in such an exciting and highly-entertaining docuseries to our audiences,” said Betty Tsui, Vice President, Programming – KIX and Thrill, Celestial Tiger Entertainment. “As a top-performing channel, KIX will continue to acquire more quality reality TV series, like Beat N Path, alongside combat sports and action-packed movies for our action fans across Asia.”

Featuring Grammy award-winning hip-hop legend Lupe Fiasco, Beat N Path is a docuseries that follows Fiasco as he chases his dual passions for music and martial arts, practicing with Kung Fu masters throughout the Middle Kingdom while exploring China’s fast-emerging hip-hop scene. Dubbed the “King of Lyrical Trickiness”, Fiasco is known for his lyrical skill, which he will apply to the movements of Kung Fu. Beat N Path will also take his fans on a journey from Chicago (his hometown) to Shaolin, to see how he became the fierce and fluid Kung Fu rapper that he is today.

Produced by Studio SV, founded by Lupe Fiasco and marketing & media entrepreneur Bonnie Chan Woo, Beat N Path is the studio’s first series production since its launch in both Hong Kong and Los Angeles in 2017.

Said Bonnie Chan Woo, “The Celestial Tiger team have a keen understanding of the audience that will love this series, we’re excited that Beat N Path is in their fold.”

Lupe Fiasco added, “Beat N Path is a unique Asia-centric journey and story that we feel can strongly connect with a wide audience throughout Asia, who are best connected through KIX.”

Beat N Path makes its world premiere exclusively on KIX and KIX HD starting March 8th, Thursdays at 9PM (HK/MAL/PHI/SG), 8PM (JKT/BKK).
